ΕΛΛΑΔΑ, or Greece if you wish, is one of the destinations in the world you will find your self. ΕΛΛΑΔΑ is so many notions… all the elements are strong here. ΕΛΛΑΔΑ is every thing – the more time you’ll spend, the more you’ll understand how little you saw.
I fell in love with the islands of ΕΛΛΑΔΑ 20 years ago… and I believe many as me keeps coming back.
If you’ve never been to Greece, don’t hesitate just go… ❀

KOUFONISSI
Koufonissi, is a small pearl hidden in the Aegean with turquoise crystal clear water. The small society here consisted of 75 inhabitants the first time I visited this island [2001], and was still ran by the original thought of that you have to go to the post office when you need a stamp, and to the book store to get a book. To be able to get the prime gyros straight from a mothers’ kitchen, served through a small “whole” in the wall… I was thrilled.
I was so delighted one evening when I went to the grocery store and the lights went out… in a flash of a second all the local customers had their flash light in their hands searching for their milk and coffee… “I must be in Heaven” was my first thought, coming from the “real” world I just fell completely in love…
And this is how it is with Koufonissi, people like you and me, discover it… we fall in love, and we keep coming back again and again. Every time I visit this pearl, I meet someone who first time discovered Koufonissi 20, 30 and 40 years ago…

SANTORINI THERA
This mystic island is located South East in the Agean Sea, and is an energy field. It is said that if you bring your loved one here, you will see if your love is true. Because the energy of this place is so strong that it will affect you. If your love is true you will have a good time, and if your love is not, you can have a horrific time here. The people here are very friendly and open. In many ways I will say that the Greeks you meet here are the ones who’s alienated from Athens. Many Athenians who can’t find their peace in the City escape to Thera to stay on a permanent basis. If you ask the bar man at the caldera, or the man smiling behind his counter of fresh fruits, they will all tell you the same story. In many ways I feel them and understand them, even though Athens is great for visit.
Don’t ever visit Thera without going to Oia, it is true what they say, this must be one of the most beautiful places on this earth – where man and nature it’s self has made the perfect blend. It’s very hot there during day time in summer, but you just have to explore this part of the island both at day and night. Oia is where you can touch the sky…

AMORGOS
The Eastern most island of the Cyclades, and on your journey to this intellectual and artistic island you can feel the distance mile by mile. It’s not always the destination its’ self that is the escape, but the journey. Amorgos is for me an undiscovered sculpture, as the island is big and has so much to it. I would call Amorgos the sibling of Folegandros as they have “sibling similarity”, and there is something about the people you meet here. Not all people go to these islands because they are difficult to reach and the journey is long, that’s why the visitors seem to have the same spirit. People who reach for the unknown. Amorgos is mysterious and almost spookey at night, as the wind and the cold chill are proclaiming their passion for each other. The chora is so towering you can almost touch the moon. At day time the sun is pleasent and nice, not hot and burning. Every time I visited mystical Amorgos I always met someone who will pass my mind every ones in awhile.
