If you haven't made your reservations yet, make sure to do it this week. I promise you will thank me later! In order du use this function on the booking applications, you need to be aware of certain things but it will give you a flexibility from the moon and back.
It's at the end of a really difficult week for me, I've spent my time and energy wisely 'cause I didn't have much, I've made some reservations and discovered some new and interesting spots. I don't know what's your therapy and medicine, but for me it's the beach!
Now is the time to book The Summer of 2025!
Why should you make your reservations now? Well, you will be surprised how much the prices will increase before we reach December, so you might want to take my advise. Many people give travel as a Christmas gift, and those who don't will finally find time to make plans during the holidays. And that must be the most jolly Christmas if you ask me, but professional travelers make the reservations for the next summer during their summer holidays or shortly after. Of course, you will find both airlines and hotels who hasn't yet launched the next summer season, and then you just have to be patient and check in every ones in awhile.
In order to get the best prices and the most unique destinations you need to plan ahead.

Continue travel-mining by searching every once in awhile, and keep making your list of reservations better and better.
Two month before your vacation, start washing your list.
Two weeks before your due date on the free - cancellations, cancel what you dont't need.

August and September
A good time to secure some good deals is in August and September. Maybe you wont find everything you want yet, but most of the times you will be able to find some hotels that will secure your spot at the destination. If you're into small unique islands like me, you'll already find that some islands are fully booked. In these cases camping might be an option, but this simply isn't me.
October and November
October might be some of the best months to make reservations. Many of the hotels has launched the next summer season, so you will have a good variety of hotels and destinations to pick and choose between. The prices are slowly picking up, and your favorite hotel might be fully booked. By November you should definitely have made your reservations, at least so you have some options for the summer.
December and Christmas time
During December and Christmas you need to work at bit harder to find the best deals, but it's still possible. Many who's renting out apartments or who's running a small hotel, might be late and wont find the time to launch their accommodation before their Christmas holiday. So be aware of this, and do your research from day to day during the Christmas holiday. And enjoy your planning, pour a glass of wine or a good cup of tea and wrap your self in a quilt and get inspired. Making your reservations during spring
This is a risk, but hey! We get far with a positive attitude, right? You might not find exactly what you're looking for, but you will find something. This is a 100 %. And you can be really lucky, but most likely you'll find that the prices are steep.
Do you like to speculate?
If you're really flexible, and you're up for an adventure, you can speculate. When speculating in prices you need to make reservations with free cancellation, and continuously search for a better deal. When finding a better deal, cancel the previous booking, and keep searching. This takes time and patience, but can give you a wonderful stay for a great price. The weeks before you're free cancellation date are due, take a quick search by studying the map in your booking app. Swipe over the nearby locations with a better deal, and consider if this is a better option for you. Sometimes some destinations aren't having a good summer season, in this case you might get a 50 % discount on the original price. I wont suggest that you rely on this, but you should definitely check it out.
